TREASURERS REPORT

P&C MEETING 15 March 2017

Current balances

General Fund $72,095

Canteen Fund $2,406

Building Fund $15,198

Other accounts $138

______

TOTAL $89,837

Current foreseeable major expenses and receipts

Uniform Shop The uniform shop is well stocked and should generate a small surplus in 2017. Reduced inventory suggests that costs and revenue should be closer to balancing this year.

Pool The robot cleaner and lane ropes have been purchased and installed in time for the swimming carnival later this week. Nedlands Council has advised this week that it will be paying only half of the usual $7,000 grant (in view of the half season opening).

Canteen expenses The tax liability of about $1850 from 2016 remains outstanding and will be paid this quarter. A top up of $4,000 from the general account will likely be required to maintain operating balance.

Voluntary contributions The school has transferred more cash received from families to the P&C. Total value of these contributions is as follows:

Voluntary contributions $7,100 + X

Swimming lessons $3,648 + X

Treetops $1,400 + X

Total $17,195

Fundraising The cake stall on 11 March was a success, with $3,800 banked to date, and expenses of about $800 yet to be reimbursed.

Bush dance The bush dance on 25 Feb is anticipated to have covered its expenses and $250 was banked, but no expenses have yet been paid.

A deposit of $1000 has been paid to the Nanga Bush Camp to reserve the site for the Band Camp later in the year.
