I agreethatmyusage of thePROGRAM issued orotherwise madeavailable tomebytheUniversity ofEdinburghtowhichIamacurrently registeredstudentormemberofstaff is subject tothefollowingconditions:

1.I will ensurethatalltherequirementsof theLicencesunderwhichthePROGRAM is heldbytheUniversity of Edinburghwill bemaintained.(Copies of the relevantLicences may beseen byapplicationtothe School orDepartment whichmadePROGRAM available.)

2.I understand that Imayonlyusethe PROGRAM forone ormoreofthefollowingpurposes

i)Teaching andstudying;

ii)AcademicResearch;

iii)Personaleducationaldevelopment

I will ensurethat Idonotusethe PROGRAMfor anyofthefollowingpurposes:

(i)Training or EducationofPersonswho arenotcurrentlyregisteredstudentsormembersofstaffatthe University of Edinburgh;

(ii)Training Coursesgiven forFee or benefit;

(ii)Consultancy orservicesgiven fora feeorother benefit;

(iv)Todowork ofsignificantbenefit toanyemployerwhilst onan industrial placement

(v)Todowork ofsignificantbenefit toanyemployerwhilst ona part-timecourses;

(vi)Researchundertaken orpublished for feeorotherbenefit

(vii)Researchcommissionedby a third party,paid foror fundedbya thirdparty or undertakenforathird party;

(viii)nyactivitywhich isforanycommercial purposeincluding withoutlimit,timesharing,rental,orservicebureau use or usefor anycommercial activities oftheLicensee.

3.I will notremoveor altertheCopyrightStatementon anycopiesof thePROGRAM usedbyme.

4.I will ensuretheSecurityand Confidentialityof anycopyreleasedto me, andwillnotmakeanyfurthercopiesfromit orknowinglypermitothersto do so,unlesspermitted todosounder therelevantlicence.

5.I will usethePROGRAM onlyforpurposesdefined,andonlyon computer systemscovered, bytheagreement,contractor licence.

6.I will onlyincorporatethe PROGRAM,or partthereof,inany work,program or article producedbyme,wherethis is permittedby the licenceor by"FairDealing".

7.I will onlyincorporatesomepartorversionof thePROGRAMinanyworkproducedby mewith theexpresspermissionofPRESIDIONorunlessthis is permittedundertheAgreement.

8.I will notreverseengineeror decompilethe PROGRAM or attempttodoso.

9.I will returnor destroyall copiesofthe PROGRAMat the endofthecourse/year/periodofemploymentorwhenrequestedto doso.
