parentheses directly next to a number with no sign)

EXAMPLE: 64 + 3(12 x 2)

KNOW:

- What an exponent is.

- What an exponent does.

- What type of math is done in a PEMDAS problem

when the parentheses is right next to a number and

there is no math sign in between them.
