Online Registration Kit Process

1.  Log onto www.joinlpl.com.

2.  Click “Join LPL Financial” at the top of the screen

3.  Continue past the first informational screen

4.  At this point you will be prompted to enter in your name, email, address and password. From here you will begin entering in the information needed to complete the Online Registration Kit.

5.  Once you have completed the Online Registration Kit, each item under “View Checklist” should read complete. Once the file is complete, a “Submit” button will appear.

6.  Submit the kit.

7.  Log off of the Online Registration Kit.

8.  You may receive an email with a link taking you back to www.joinlpl.com. If you do not receive the email, manually log back onto www.joinlpl.com.

9.  Log back onto the Online Registration Kit by entering in your email address and password in the “Returning Visitors” section. A PDF (Adobe Acrobat) file will automatically open.

10.  Print this document (between 40 and 60 pages) and sign in the designated areas. If you have a branch manager, please have your branch manager sign in the designated areas and write a sponsor letter.

11.  Send the completed documents to the following address:

12.  Your Transition Specialist will call you once your original file has been received to begin and review the process with you.

LPL Registration Kit – Notes of Interest

- DO NOT send in the $400 registration fee. We will waive that cost.

- Make sure you fill out the kit that applies to your situation (Branch Manager, Rep, CPA, Assistant)

- If you run into something on the kit you are unsure of, simply approximate or leave blank (if possible) and move along. We can typically fill-in items upon receipt in San Diego if needed.

- Once you submit the kit electronically, you will need to print out the hard-copies and sign as applicable. If you are not the Branch Manager, you will need to have your Branch Manager review and sign as applicable as well. Once the signatures are completed, please copy and overnight the kit to LPL per the address listed.

- When you overnight the kit, please include a copy of your state insurance license and substantiation of trailing 12 months’ production. Any recent W-2 copies, 1099 copies, or commission runs reflecting the last 12 months should suffice.

- Keep in mind this kit is NON-BINDING...it simply allows LPL to do their due-diligence if you should choose to affiliate.
