3 Previous Minutes: Minutes circulated from previous committee meeting is accepted as a true and accurate recordagreed Craig Gibson, seconded byTamara Leonard.
4. Standing items4.1 President’s Report:
Numbers have been a little disappointing, whole lot of new faces not a lot of the old faces. Possibly time of year? Or storms? Approval for sponsorship from Ballina RSL, we need to look at alternate sponsorship and send out letters. Authority to fundraise from Westpac helicopter. Westpac is happy to advertise. Aim for February race for fundraiser day, possibility of yellow/red theme. Possibly a sub committee to organise. This can be a big day for sponsors and community collaboration opportunity. Limited to 100 sanctioned to race.
4.2 Treasurer’s Report:
I-saver online $8411.91 community 1st $4474.27 term deposit stayed the same. Club is financial. Andy frame run - we will be donating $250. Club Race 1 on 28/10 we had $420 profit. Club Race 2- cancelled due to weather.

We received a letter from Southern Cross School from principal, memorandum of understanding for using their facility, has been completed and we are now awaiting their bill.

5.2 Fundraising event- / Charity triathlon this season will be run for the Westpac rescue helicopter. This will be held 10th of February -possible ask for nominations for a sub committee at Race 3 / Paul

6. NEW BUSINESS
6.1 Race 3 / Weather forecast is good, HOT... Water safety and time keeping are alright, coffee van is confirmed. Sunrise cycles sponsorship vouchers are to be used at race, Ballina motorcycles and Fruitos also to be used for random draws. Random Draws- 1x t-shirt, 2x bike vouchers, fruit tray, Ballina motorcycles vouchers. Start enticer after last swimmers out for long course.
6.2 website access- / Contacted Marcus and Jess and Sharon now have access... Create Facebook link, edit and update google calendar. Craig to contact creator of web page. Kylie to give Tamara access. Delete old Facebook page and create and maintain new Facebook page. / Kylie

6.3 New club sign / Craig has contacted Big River to create a sign that can be seen from the road. They have been contacted and we are waiting reply. / Craig
6.4 Christmas party break / Non official Christmas party - stay at Shaws bay, Friday the 14th. No further advertising, provide dinner and nibbles to members. Stop for 2 weeks 21st and 28th of December, return back 4th January. Following weekend is triple sprint. Craig to order pizza and subway platters (email about breaks) / Craig

Insurance- / We are requesting written correspondence from Triathlon Australia regarding the day licence for insurance. Is there a form for license.At the beginning of next year establish the extra cost for $5 for a day license. / Paul

Coffs Harbour Triathlon / Bus for Coffs Harbour - race date the 3rd of March has been organised. Idea is to make it as cheap as possible to support inclusion. Can we get it to $20-30 a head.Plan to go down Saturday lunch time, stay in basic accommodation and travel home the next day after the event. Deposit necessary (non-refundable) and first in best dressed. / Tony and Craig
