Welcome to worship

Prayer for 10 minutes, 10.15 - 10.25am in Room 1, to pray for those taking part in the service. Do come and join us when you can.

Large print hymn books and sheets are available.

Loop system for those with hearing aids.

Small children are welcome to join our supervised crèche in Room 1. Toys are available in the welcome area for parents who wish to play with their children whilst listening to the service.

The candle prior to worship is a sign that we should keep

a prayerful silence.

After morning service, please join us for refreshments in the Hall and visit the Fairtrade stall. The ‘Good News Book’is available for use.

Thanksgiving for the safe birth to Mel and Tan Likiliki of a daughter, Victoria, on May 25th; a sister for Tevita and Williami.

Due to the Church being used for the General Election on 8thJune, we are unable to hold the June Church Lunch. We apologise for this and look forward to resuming on Thursday, 14th September.

Today, 12.30pm - 4pm – Pentecost Picnic

Churches Together in Salisbury invite you to the Cathedral Grounds for a Pentecost Picnic. This will be an opportunity to gather together as the body of Christ in Salisbury. Come and meet friends from other churches you’ve not seen for a long time; bring a picnic and enjoy being together.

Tuesday, 6th June, 2pm – Nativity Crib Festival Organisation Meeting

Planning has already started for this year’s Nativity Crib Festival. If you would like to be involved in the organisation of this please let Jan Bundy or Sue Gilbert know and come along to the first meeting at Church. We are looking for people to help with the advertising of the event, encouraging groups and organisations to exhibit nativity scenes, and to organise the musical programme which will entertain the visitors. Your help is needed to ensure this event is a success.

Played by four Palestinian musicians in the chapel of Sarum College, followed by Palestinian refreshments. All four musicians are current or past teachers at the renowned Edward Said National Conservatory of Music with branches in Jerusalem, Gaza and the West Bank.
