Second agenda item:Review of previous action items
All items have been completed. Mike Sklar was not present to report on his particular item.
Third agenda item: Tasking by the K-12, workforce, University and Public Outreach
Please spend some time gathering information on existing spaceport curriculum to send to Alicia Baturoni. She will be using this information to create a matrix for each component found.
Fourth agenda item:Website and common interface discussion
ARTWG web development is currently underway by Space Explorers, Inc. Once this is approved and finalized we can begin an ASTWG site of a similar nature.
Fifth agenda item: New Business
Super Loki Rocket Launches re-activated. Identify possible audiences. This is an 11 foot, 70 lb solid sub-orbital rocket originally designed as an anti-aircraft device. This rocket is currently being used in both Michigan and Wisconsin Rockets for Schools programs with great success. Rocket, launch team, and demonstration provided. Also has 2 ¼ inch payload capability if a more advanced project is desired
From George French: Wisconsin Lt. Gov. was with NASA Director Sean O’keefe and Homeland Security Director Tom Ridge at the Shuttle Launch. While it did not launch as scheduled, quality time was spent with the Director. This is a plus for NCSS and ASTWG
Sixth agenda item: Action Items
