1920’s Group Presentations

For this assignment, you will be divided into groups. Each group will focus on a few specific topics dealing with the 1920s. The 1920s was a decade of much social change, and a time when many “civil liberties” were suppressed. Each group will need to pick out key points which are interesting and important.

Each group will present their research to the class. Each presentation will give us information that we will ALL need for the test about the 1920s. You will be expected to know about each group’s topics for the test, so be sure to pay attention and take notes on Presentation Day.

Requirements:

· You must present your information creatively (skit, PowerPoint, Posters, etc.—feel free to come up with your own ideas!)

· Within you presentation, you must include what is important about your topic, what is its significance, and people who are involved…pick out the most important!

· You should also include some creative components to your presentations: pictures, song lyrics, short video clips, political cartoons, interesting articles you found…this is why we are in the computer lab!

· Each group member must contribute to the presentation and each member must speak for at least for one minute. You can divide up how you would like to present, but everyone must participate.

· Become an expert in the subject! Remember you will be teaching your classmates.
