Project details:The current claims system is close to 20 years old which is becoming slowly redundant and with the volume of claims increasing, an initiative was started by Selective to upgrade the claims system. The new claims system is a web based client server application, which processes the claims at a faster pace by allowing the claims engine to integrate with various numbers of interfaces which will help the claim examiner to guide the claim in the right path and pay the insured according the norms and coverage.

Responsibilities:

Involved in design discussions of interfaces that will enable the claims system to co-ordinate with the third party interfaces.

The migration included to create a replica of the existing system using the Java interface and HTML pages.
