In 1999 the Wells High School Cheerleaders established Cheers from the Heart, a charity benefit cheerleading competition. Since 1999, Cheers from the Heart has donated over $189,000 dollars to local charities and families in need.
With each passing year, the popularity of this event has grown. Teams, Coaches, Officials and fans love the positive atmosphere, enthusiasm and the opportunity to give back to their communities.
The18th annual Cheers from the Heart competition will be held on January 30, 2016at two co-host locations – Biddeford High School and Oxford Hills High School. The competition is open to all Youth, Recreation, Junior High/Middle School, High School Junior Varsity/Varsity and All-Star teams throughout New England.
Admission is $5.00 per adult $3.00 per student/child. The admission fee will be reduced by $1.00 with the donation of a non-perishable food item. All food collected will be donated to local food pantries. Get the word out to your fans. Save a dollar and help keep food on the table for others!
Please complete the registration form and return it along with the registration fee to my attention at the address above. Registration closes on January 23, 2016. The registration fee is $65.00 per team, per school. Registration for MYCCA members is reduced to $35.00 as long asproof of membership is provided with the registration.
