18th Annual Talent Show
Audition Form and Information
Thank you for your interest in the 18th Annual Talent Show. The show will be held on Saturday, February 4th, 2012. Auditions will be held on Monday, December 12 from 3:45-6 pm in the South Auditorium and on Wed, Dec 14 for 3:45-6 pm in 101 south. The Talent Show Committee has asked that your audition should be no longer than 5 minutes long, due to the tight schedule of auditions. During these auditions, the Talent Show Committee will be looking for creativity, talent, and diversity of acts. We encourage you to audition to be a part of this exciting event.
Please be at least 10 minutes early for your audition. It is important that we keep on schedule, so be prompt! If you have equipment to set up, please show but extra early. You should also know that you don’t have to audition the exact song/dance/poem/monologue/hula dance that you are thinking of doing for the show, but you have to do something similar. Do not tell us that you plan to do a juggling routine and then show up on the night of the show with your brand new kazoo band! Gonna dance? Do a dance for your audition!
Talent Show Schedule of EVENTS______
Audition Forms Due to 101 South no later than Monday, Dec 5th
Contacted with your audition time by Thursday, Dec. 8th
Auditions held Dec 12 and 14th (snow date on Dec 15th)
Audition results posted and emailed by Friday, Dec. 16th
Rehearsals on Thursday Feb, 2 and Friday Feb. 3rd.
Talent Show is Saturday, Feb. 4, 7:30-10:30
The attached form needs to be filled out COMPLETELY and returned by Monday, Dec, 5th to room 101 South. Keep this sheet for future reference of dates, times, ect. (Just a suggestion, but we think it’s a pretty good one).
Due to lack of sound equipment in the South building, we are not be able to have rock bands in the show this year. We are really sorry!
