“Well done, good and trustworthy servant; you have shown you are trustworthy in small things; I will trust you with greater; come and join in your master’s happiness…”

Today’s Gospel is a beautiful definition of what Mother Rafols’s life was: love to God with everything in what is small, in what is daily, surrendering herself to others “with the greatest care, with every detail, with all love”.

Mother Maria Rafols lived in this way almost for 50 years, with the children of the Foundling Home of Zaragoza and the House of Mercy of Huesca, with the sick of Our Lady of Grace Hospital, with the wounded ones of the Independence War, with her Community Sisters, with the people whom she worked with and even with the members of the Governing Board of this Hospital, in prison and in the exile.

Mother Maria Rafols hoped inDios and made of this hope her daily path. Every encounter with Him led her to encounter every Sister of her Community, every brother and sister, and to pour her talents out, being a reflection of God’s Hospitality.

We pray in a special way for the Sisters of the Province of Mother Rafols, for every Sister of the Congregation, for St. Anne’s Family, so that like her we may love God with everything and be faithful in the small things of every day.

~We pray for all those who are part of the Church, so that, through the intercession of Mother Maria Rafols, we may love God with all heart and be faithful in the small things of every day. LET US PRAY

~We pray for peace in the world so that, as Mother Maria Rafols, may there always be men and women willing to make it possible, committed with the welfare of the people. LET US PRAY

~We pray for those who suffer any kind of wants so that, through the intercession of Mother Maria Rafols, they may be accompanied in their pain and need. LET US PRAY

~We pray for every Sister of the Congregation and for St. Anne’s Family so that, as Mother Maria Rafols, we may be reflection of God’s Hospitality. LET US PRAY

~We pray for those who feel called to the Consecrated, Priestly and Missionary Life so that they may answer with trust to God’s call and be Good News in our world. LET US PRAY

~We pray for each one of us so that, together with Mother Maria Rafols, we may live searching and loving God’s will, pouring our talents out, for the good of the neighbour “with the greatest care, with every detail, with all love”. LET US PRAY
