April4, 2018

Dear Parents/Guardians:

Someone very important, namely your son or daughter, will be attending our prom on Friday, May 4, 2018.

We share with you a sincere desire to have this school activity be a time of pleasant and happy memories. Unfortunately, there are nightmarish tales each year in high schools all across the country telling of tragedies that might have been avoided had adolescents exercised good judgment. Furthermore, since this is a school activity, and thus an extension of the school day, all regulations regarding acceptable behavior will be enforced. In order to avoid any potential harm to your child or any possible conflict with school authority, please read carefully and discuss the guidelines listed below with your child. Also, please sign the attached form, together with your child, indicating your willingness to adhere to school regulations.

Returning the form properly signed is a necessary condition for attending the prom. This form must be returned to the Prom Advisor, no later than Friday, April 27, 2018, for review by the Principal. Tickets will be on sale Wednesday, April 11, 2018 until Thursday, April 26, 2018 for $45.00 per person. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Sincerely,

Mr. Daniel Malloy

Secondary Principal
