I am seeking items to be raffled or auctioned at the Commerce Department Child Development Center’ sixth annual fundraising auction which will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at the U.S. Department of Commerce. I would be grateful if your company would consider making a donation of goods or services to help with this year’s mission.
All the money raised at this year’s event will fund the Center’s programs, including our tuition scholarship program. Our tuition assistance program gives a number of low-income families the option to send their children to our Center. Commerce Kids is a NAEYC accredited non-profit child care center, dedicated to providing a high quality, enriching environment for families employed by the U.S. Department of Commerce, other federal agencies, and the Federal Triangle working community.
By making a donation, your business is afforded a wonderful advertising opportunity, as all donors will be prominently displayed online at www.commercekids.org and in our printed auction catalogue. The notice of the CDCDC Auction is distributed to the over 8,000 people who work at the Department of Commerce. This is a unique advertising opportunity and our hope is that your business will receive new clients from the advertising and word of mouth generated by the auction.
