May/June Click It or Ticket Mobilization 2016: 4 Radio PSAs
PSA 1 – CIOT Enforcement
I am (officer and department name). Beginning May 16th law enforcement nationwide will join to crack down on non-seat belt use. We strictly enforce Pennsylvania’s seat belt laws 24/7, so you should always buckle up. Any time you are stopped and cited for a traffic violation and you’re not wearing your seat belt, you will receive a second citation for not buckling up. “Click It or Ticket” Day & Night – two tickets, two fines.
Brought to you by PennDOT and (radio station name).
PSA 2 – Nighttime
I am (officer and department name). You’re wrong if you think you won’t be seen not wearing a seat belt at night. Driving conditions can be more dangerous after dark and your chance of experiencing a fatal crash increases three times after the sun goes down. Day and night, seat belts are the law in Pennsylvania. “Click It or Ticket” – two tickets, two fines.

PSA 3 – TEZ
This is (officer and department name). In 2015, 413 people who died in crashes in Pennsylvania were not wearing their seat belt. Officers like me are determined to decrease that number. You will begin to see more Traffic Enforcement Zone signs on roadways where many people crash and don’t wear seat belts. Police will cite drivers and front-seat passengers who aren’t wearing seat belts. So remember – “Click It or Ticket”, Day & Night – two tickets, two fines.

PSA 4 -CIOT U-18:
I am (officer and department name). My department will join law enforcement officers across the state to crack down on drivers who aren’t wearing their seat belts. The primary law requires all vehicle occupants under 18 to be buckled up or the driver can be pulled over and cited for just the seat belt violation. Unbelted occupants over 18 who are cited for a traffic violation will also receive a second citation. Police will be writing seat belt tickets to save lives, so do the right thing and buckle up.
