As we begin the school year, the staff at Roy W. Brown Middle School is eager to form a partnership with our students’

families. In order to keep the lines of communication open, we have begun a number of initiatives.

First and foremost, know that you can contact your child’s teachers and/or guidance counselor via phone or email to arrange a

meeting or discuss grades and concerns. Phone numbers are listed on the updated RWB website, found on the school dropdown

menu at . Staff email addresses are the first initial of the first name and the last name followed by

@bergenfield.org (ex: ). Open House is scheduled for Thursday, September 15th.

Additionally, please utilize in order to stay abreast of your child’s homework assignments, projects,

and tests/quizzes. You can log onto the website, click on Visit myhomeworknow.com at the bottom of the page, click on find

your school at the bottom of the page, click on NJ, scroll down to Roy W. Brown Middle and click on Select, and then click

Select to the right of the desired teacher. While on the site, please check for Take Home Notices and Announcements at the top

of the page. We have posted all of the notices that are mailed home. Also sign up to receive alerts via email or text message so

that you can stay informed.

Another important source of information is the Parent Portal of Infinite Campus, the student monitoring program utilized by

the Bergenfield Public Schools. Using the indicated website and your personal GUID/Activation Key you will be able to

monitor your child’s attendance, conduct, grades, and individual assignments on a regular basis. Instructions on how to access

the site and set up your login and password can be found on the reverse side of this page. If you already have a Campus

Portal Account, please continue logging in as usual.

It is the goal of the Roy W. Brown staff to keep the families of our students aware of school-wide events, community activities,
