STEPPING STONES

128cms/138cms Restricted Handicap Qualifier

Rule 414. Table A. Two Rounds not against the clock. Speed 325mpm. All equal first in round one will go forward to round two over a shortened course. Height of fences: (128cms - 75cms) (138cms – 85cms)

For registered ponies not exceeding 138cms, to be ridden by Pony or Pony Associate members ages in accordance with Rule 77.12 & 77.13. Those Riders up to the end of the calendar year in which the age of 10 years is reached are eligible to enter irrespective of notional winnings. Riders aged 10 years and over on 1st January in the calendar year, can ride ponies which have not won a total of £350 Notional Winnings in the 128cmsSection and £700 notional winnings in the 138cms Section. 128cms Ponies are not permitted to enter the 138cms Section. Once Riders have competed at or have ever qualified for RIHS or HOYS on any height pony they are no longer eligible to compete in the final. Once a Pony has qualified with any rider for RIHS or HOYS in the current year, then it is not eligible to compete in this competition or in the Final

Four double clears to qualify for the British Show jumping Scope Festival. Qualification is Pony/ Rider Combination

SPRINGBOARD 128cms/138cms Restricted Handicap

Table A. Two Rounds not against the clock. Speed 325mpm. Height of fences:- (128cms 90cms) (138cms 1.00m) Open to registered ponies not exceeding 138cms, ridden by Pony or Pony Associate Members ages in accordance with Rule 77.12 & 77.13.

This competition is open to all but qualification purposes:

128cms Section Pony riders eligible irrespective of notional winnings, before the calendar year in which the age of 10 yrs is reached. Riders who reach the age of 10 years and over in the current calander year, not to have won a total of £500 notional winnings.138cms Section (Ponies exceeding 128cms) Pony riders are eligible to enter irrespective of notional winnings, before the calendar year in which the age of 12yrs is reached. Riders aged 12yrs and over in current calendar year, not to have won a total of £850 notional winnings. Pony Riders are not eligible to enter the 138cms section until the calendar year in which their eighth birthday is reached. Once Riders have competed at, or have qualified for RIHS or HOYS on any height pony they are no longer eligible to compete in the final.

Qualifiers Pony/Rider Combination Two double clears qualify for the final. 128cms Ponies are not permitted to enter the 138cms section.

WINTER 128cms COMPETITION - FIRST ROUND

Rule 514. Table A7. Speed 325mpm. Height of fences 1.05m. For registered ponies that have won £30 or more, not exceeding 128cms, ridden by Pony members who may not compete in this competition before the calendar year in which their eighth birthday is reached, age in accordance with Rule 77.13. Two double clears qualify (subject to revision)

WINTER 138cms COMPETITION - FIRST ROUND

Rule 512. Table A7. Speed 325mpm. Height of fences 1.10m. For registered ponies that have won £30 or more, exceeding 128cms but not exceeding 138cms, ridden by Pony or Pony Associate members, who may not compete in this competition before the calendar year in which their eighth birthday is reached, age in accordance with Rule 77.12. Two double clears qualify

In the event of 20 starters or more this class will be divided with two sets of prize money. Riders under the age of 8 are not eligible to compete in this class. Competitors may ride 3 ponies in each section.
