Performance criteria

1.1The requirements for an industrial or commercial catering solution are scoped in consultation with the customer in accordance with company procedures and industry accepted technical practices.

Rangelocation, installation costs, operating costs, delivery dates.

1.2Equipment options that meet customer requirements are identified and comparisons prepared in accordance with company procedures and industry accepted technical practices.

Rangecooking equipment, hot water equipment, cleaning equipment.

1.3Gas supply is evaluated to identify ability to meet customer’s proposed system requirements.

Rangequantity, quality, pressure.

1.4Requirements for auxiliary equipment for an industrial or commercial catering solution are identified in accordance with AS/NZS 5601and electrical codes.

Rangesafety systems, control systems, exhaust systems.

1.5Customer requirements and benefits sought, are evaluated and quantified in accordance with company procedures.

1.6Implications, costs, and benefits of alternative energy approaches are explained to customer in accordance with company procedures.

Rangeinstallation costs, operating costs, maintenance requirements, auxiliary equipment costs.

Develop an industrial or commercial catering solution in a gas distribution network.

Performance criteria

2.1Catalogues and vendor brochures are researched to determine available equipment range.

2.2Equipment suppliers are approached to determine equipment suitability and availability for the proposed solution.

Rangecosts, delivery dates, special requirements.

2.3Gas supply details, usage patterns, metering requirements, and other network design parameters needed to meet customer requirements are determined in accordance with company procedures.

2.4Outside contractors are liaised with to determine design and installation requirements in accordance with company procedures.

2.5Proposed solution to meet customer requirements is consistent with organisation profit margins, is accurate and complete, and is agreed by authorised persons according to company procedures.

Rangeproposed solution – technology, costs, labour lead times, risks, disruptions, connections;

authorised persons – management specialists.

2.6Organisation of meetings between representatives of customer, company, and contractors promotes and develops goodwill, and details of arrangement are in accordance with company procedures.

2.7Detailed designs, specifications, and costings are prepared, and presented to customers in accordance with company procedures.

2.8System specifications and designs meet legislative and regulatory requirements and are consistent with industry guidelines.
