Expectations of Grant Recipients

  • Teachers and community partners must have an existing or create a new profile in order to participate in this grants program
  • Recipients of the grant must use the CommunityShare website to message and schedule their shares (this helps us test our online platform).
  • Recipients will allow CommunityShare’s assessment & documentation teams to observe and document (photograph/video) community partner shares. Documentation may be shared on the CommunityShare website and in other venues to celebrate the importance of your work!
  • Teachers will assist CommunityShare in identifying students with and without media releases.
  • After their grant-funded project is completed, grant recipients will be expected to submit at least 5 photos of their share(s) and a brief summary of what was learned from the project. Students in the photos need to have photo releases on file with the school.
  • Recipients will be asked to recruit 5 teachers and/or community partners to join CommunityShare (this will help our CommunityShare family grow for the benefit of all teachers and students!)
