11 MONTH EMPLOYEE SALARY OPTION FORM
If a school employee wishes to receive their salary over (26 multiple Pay) versus (24 Pays), this election form must be completed. The election must be made before the beginning of the school fiscal year to which it applies (July 1). The default pay option is 24 pays.
The 26 multiple pay check enables the employee to receive a multi pay equivalent to two pays to be paid on the last June pay cycle of the fiscal year (for 2017-18). The employee will still receive only 2 checks in the summer but receive an extra check on June 2018 equivalent to two pays. This options results because the full contractual salary amount is divided by 26 rather than 24, resulting in lower amounts each pay cycle to create the multi-pay in June.

elect to receive my compensation on an annualized basis (26 multiple Pay) (July-June), instead of (24 Pay). I understand that my compensation will be divided by 26 pays and not 24 pays, but I will receive the multipay equivalent to 2 pays in June of the school fiscal year.
My election is effective the 1st day of July 2017 for the 2017-2018 school year and thereafter, until I revoke this election.
I understand that my election is irrevocable once the school fiscal year begins and that this is a voluntary election. It may be changed after the entire school fiscal year is over. However, I further understand that my election will remain in place until I elect to change it. If I want to change my election for the following year, I must notify the school district in writing. That change must be made before the beginning of the school fiscal year to which the change applies.
