Position:Medicaid Performance Manager
Supervisor:Chief Clinical Officer
Location:Cincinnati, OH Corporate Office
Position Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in a Human Services related field
- 5 years’ experience in Administrative and/or Human Services
- 5 years training or teaching experience preferred
- 5 years’ experience in Medicaid billing
- Experience in Program Development and Implementation including policy and form development and budget implementation
- Clinical license preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Successful completion of all required criminal background checks
- Willingness for extensive travel and attend/provide/coordinate trainings
- Knowledge of the socio-cultural characteristics of the service population
- Proficient in computer software programs (i.e. Microsoft Word, email, PowerPoint, GoTo Meeting and the Internet)
- Excellent writing and oral communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to set and meet deadlines
- Ability to work within a team structure
This position will work with the agency clinical officer to ensure that Medicaid programs are sustainable and efficient as well as ensure that staff has the tools and training necessary to successfully deliver Medicaid billable services. The focus will be Medicaid credentialing, documentation, staff utilization and set up of billing systems in tandem with internal billing department.
Position Responsibilities:
- Work in collaboration with the Clinical Officer on program development and implementation from the ground level including policy and form development, billing startups, and budget implementation;
- Clinical consultation and support to staff and clients;
- Training to staff and clients regarding programmatic and clinical issues, specifically including Medicaid billing systems, prior authorizations and utilization of billable hours;
- Work with the Clinical Officer to provide consultation and support to State Director and/or Regional Director(s) on Medicaid services and issues;
- Work with the Director of Business Analytics for billing and database implementation;
- Work with outside entities related to licensure, training, billing, and program implementation especially insurance and managed care organizations responsible for Medicaid contracts;
- Production or coordination of instructional clinical material required for program implementation, workshops and/or staff needs related to Medicaid billing and therapeutic services;
- Spearhead special projects or program development as needs arise;
- Work internally within various departments to access needed resources for programs;
- Any other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor
