Coffee Hour:
This morning, all of those being confirmed are receiving the Diocesan Confirmation Cross (Designed by the 1st Alaska Bishop Peter Trimble Rowe) from the Bishop; and a new book of Common Prayer from the St. Matthew's Vestry. We celebrate, also this morning, the publication of the New Testament in the modern Gwich'In language (copies available in the church office). This continues along church tradition stretching back to the pioneering work of 19th century Anglican Archdeacon Robert McDonald.

Small Changes make BIG DIFFERENCES MONTH
COME, O LORD, in mercy to my soul and dwell there forever. Give to me Thyself without whom nothing can satisfy and with whom is joy unspeakable. Let me seek Thee with all the strength of my being and the ardent longing of my
soul. And, finding Thee, let my life show forth the glory of Thy Name in the flowers of good works and the fragrance of holy living. Amen.

The emphasis is on God’s forgiveness & love, not our guilt. Traditionally, therefore, no Confession nor kneeling during Easter.
