access to your e-portfolio
This helpsheet explains what you have to do to give staff at your secondary school membership of the e-portfolioyou created at primary school.
If you have forgotten your Glow password over the summer you will need to ask a teacher to reset this for you.
Stage 1 – Adding your teachers as members

- Log in to Glow. You will see the Glow Lightscreen, similar to this:
- Click on the Favouritesbutton and the Glow Group you created to hold your e-portfolio blog should be at the top of the list. It will either say your name or My e-portfolio depending on what you called it when you created it. Click on this Glow Group to enter it.

- ClickSite Settings.
- ClickGo to Site Administration.
- Click Manage users.
- At the moment, you and your primary teachers are the members of your Glow Group. To add your secondary teacher(s), clickAdd Users.
- Delete the text that is currently in the ‘Choose Users’ box, and type in the text your teacher gives you. It will look something like this:
1234567-teachingstaff
The number will be different for your school, so make sure you type it in correctly.
Your teacher might ask to you add some other users, for example, 1234567-nonteachingstaff, or 1234567-teachingassistantstaff, which would allow other staff in your school to see your e-portfolio.
If you add more than one group, separate them with semicolons, like this
