Dear Parent(s) and Guardian(s),
Thanks again for your continued support!
Here's what the children will be learning next week:
Math — The class will collect and categorize data and will create graphs to represent their data.
Reading — Students will identify and use text features to locate key facts or information in a text efficiently. They will also be able to identify the main purpose of a text.
Writing — Students will work on conjunctions (examples are and, but, and or). They will also continue working on writing their informative pieces about healthy habits, focusing on including text features and having effective closings.
Science — We will identify causes of pollution and determine ways that we can help to make our environments healthier.
Social Studies — Students will describe characteristics of good leaders and will apply what they have learned when they participate in our school election.
Spelling — Our focus will be on words that have double o’s — examples include noon and look.

We wanted to thank all of our volunteers. We appreciate all that you do.
Have a wonderful weekend!
