Call to Worship

Hymn Of Praise:No. 1 – “Praise the Lord who reigns above”

1. Praise the Lord who reigns above 2. Celebrate th' eternal God
and keeps his court below; with harp and psaltery,
praise the holy God of love timbrels soft and cymbals loud
and all his greatness show; in this high praise agree;
praise him for his noble deeds, praise with every tuneful string;
praise him for his matchless power; all the reach of heavenly art,
him from whom all good proceeds all the powers of music bring,
let earth and heaven adore. the music of the heart.
3. God, in whom they move and live,
let every creature sing,
glory to their Maker give,
and homage to their King.
Hallowed be thy name beneath,
as in heaven on earth adored;
praise the Lord in every breath,
let all things praise the Lord.

Prayer of Adoration & Thanksgiving

Responsive Reading: No. 659

Leader - The Lord is my shepherd,

People -therefore can I lack nothing.

Leader - He will make me lie down in green pastures

People -and lead me beside still waters.

Leader -He will refresh my soul

People - and guide me in right pathways for his name’s sake.

Leader - though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,

I will fear no evil;

People - for you are with me your rod and your staff comfort me.

Leader - You spread a table before me

in the face of those who trouble me;

People -you have anointed my head with oil,

and my cup will be full.

Leader - Surely your goodness and loving-kindness

willfollow me all the days of my life,

All - and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

Songs of Worship

1.Thank you for the cross Lord
thank you for the price you paid
bearing all my sin and shame
in love you came and gave amazing grace.
Thank you for this love Lord
thank you for the nail pierced hands

Washed me in your cleaning flow

Now all I know, your forgiveness and embrace.

Worthy is the Lamb, seated on the throne
we crown you now with many crowns
you reign victorious
high and lifted up, Jesus Son of God
the Darling of Heaven crucified
worthy is the Lamb, worthy is the Lamb

2. The splendour of a King, clothed in majesty.
Let all the earth rejoice, let all the earth rejoice
He wraps himself in Light, and darkness tries to hide.
And trembles at His voice, trembles at His voice
How great is our God, sing with me
How great is our God, and all will see
How great, how great is our God
Age to age He stands; and time is in His hands
Beginning and the end, beginning and the end
The Godhead Three in One; Father, Spirit, Son.
The Lion and the Lamb, the Lion and the Lamb

Name above all names, worthy of our praise
My heart will sing, how great is our God
How great is our God, sing with me
How great is our God, and all will see
How great, how great is our God

[Children 10 years and under leave for Junior Church]

[BRIEF PERIOD OF SILENCE]

[Sung prayerfully]

Reach out and touch the Lord as he passes by

You’ll find he’s not too busy to hear your hearts cry

He’s passing by this moment your need to supply

Reach out and touch the Lord as he passes by.

Prayer of Confession & Intercession

[Sung prayerfully]

1. You are my strength when I am weak, 2. Taking my sin, my cross, my shame,

You are the treasure that I seek; Rising again I bless your name;

You are my all in all. You are my all in all.

Seeking you as a precious jewel When I fall down, you pick me up;

Lord to give up, I'd be a fool; when I am dry, you fill my cup;

You are my all in all. [Chorus] You are my all in all. [Chorus]

Chorus: Jesus, Lamb of God, worthy is your name!

Jesus, Lamb of God, worthy is your name!

Hymn of Meditation: No. 2 – “Come thou fount of every blessing…”

1. Come, thou Fount of every blessing, 2. Here I raise mine Ebenezer;
tune my heart to sing thy grace; hither by thy help I'm come;
streams of mercy, never ceasing, and I hope, by thy good pleasure,
call for songs of loudest praise. safely to arrive at home.
Teach me some melodious sonnet, Jesus sought me when a stranger,

sung by flaming tongues above. wandering from the fold of God;

Praise the mount! I'm fixed upon it, he, to rescue me from danger,
mount of thy redeeming love. interposed his precious blood.
3. O to grace how great a debtor
daily I'm constrained to be!
Let thy goodness, like a fetter,
bind my wandering heart to thee.
Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it,
prone to leave the God I love;
here's my heart, O take and seal it,
seal it for thy courts above.

Come just as you are
Hear the spirit call
Come just as you are
Come and see, come receive
Come and live forever (repeat all)
Life Everlasting, strength for today
Taste the living water
And never thirst again
Come and see, come receive
Come and live forever
Life Everlasting, strength for today
Taste the living water
And never thirst again
Life Everlasting, strength for today
Taste the living water
And never thirst again
Come just as you are
Don't you hear the spirit call?
Come just as you are
Come and see, Christ My King
Come and live forever more
