Description: Learned PERL and wrote scripts for various tasks (analyzing logs etc.), worked with the FreeBSD operating system and mySQL database. Wrote HTML templates using the DesertNet “ev” tag language. As an example, I migrated a bulletin board from a proprietary product that used an MS Access database on an unstable Windows machine to a mySQL database on a FreeBSD computer, and converted the data to a different schema. Then I wrote a new bulletin board system to mimic the look and feel of the proprietary product.
