Chanhassen Storm 10,000 Shot Club
Prepare yourself to be a scoring threat for the 2017-18 hoops season! Shoot 10,000 game speed shots this summer and take your game to the next level. To qualify, record your shots on the CAA website. Shoot jump shots, free throws, three-pointers and one dribble jump shots. Posts will shoot jump shots while facing the basket and work on back to the basket post moves. If we want to make it to the next level your off season starts now.
10,000 Shot Club Routine
- Warm-Up: Form Shooting: Shoot 10 from the left, front and center 2-3 feet = 30 shots
- Shoot 20 Mikans off of one foot= 20 shots
- Jumpers from each block – Shoot 10 on each side= 20 shots
- Shoot 5 Free Throws= 5 shots
- 8 Foot Jumpers from the sides – Shoot 10 on each side= 20 shots
- Shoot 5 Free Throws= 5 shots
- Elbow Jumpers – Shoot 10 on each side= 20 shots
- Shoot 5 Free Throws= 5 shots
- Baseline Jumpers – 10 Feet – Shoot 10 on each side= 20 shots
- Shoot 5 Free Throws= 5 shots
- Dribble from half-court from the right, crossover move and shoot a 10 foot
jump shot. Get rebound and dribble out to half-court on the left side, dribble
back in crossover and shoot a 10 foot jump shot. Shoot 10 shots from each side. = 20 shots
- Shoot 5 Free Throws= 5 shots
- From left wing – Fake right and go for a lay-up. Shoot 10 shots= 10 shots
- From right wing – Fake right and go for a lay-up. Shoot 10 shots= 10 shots
- Shoot 5 Free Throws= 5 shots
- From left wing – Fake left and go for a lay-up. Shoot 10 shots= 10 shots
- From right wing – Fake left and go for a lay-up. Shoot 10 shots= 10 shots
- Shoot 5 Free Throws= 5 shots
- From left wing – Fake right and one dribble pull-up. Shoot 10 shots= 10 shots
- From right wing – Fake right and one dribble pull-up. Shoot 10 shots= 10 shots
- Shoot 5 Free Throws= 5 shots
- From left wing – Fake left and one dribble pull-up. Shoot 10 shots= 10 shots
- From right wing – Fake left and one dribble pull-up. Shoot 10 shots= 10 shots
- Shoot 5 Free Throws= 5 shots
- Back to the basket drop steps – 0 to 1 dribbles. Shoot 10 from each side= 20 shots
- Shoot 5 Free Throws= 5 shots
When you have completed this drill, you will have shot 300 times. Keep track of how many you have made.
