Industry 2017 - Air Liquide Welding France proudly presents several new products around productivity and welder’s environment

From 4th to 7th April 2017, Air Liquide Welding France will participate at the Industry 2017 exhibition in Lyon. This is an opportunity for visitors to come and visit us at stand 4 A 125 to discover our latest innovations in the field of welding and cutting technologies.

1.  MIG-MAG welding equipment (manual & automatic):

DIGIWAVE III (in Saf-fro brand) / CITOWAVE III (in Oerlikon brand), a welding machine based on the latest inverter technology (3rd genration). From a 400V three-phase supply, this equipment delivers welding current from 15 to 500A (WAVE III 520 version). It has excellent welding caracteristics including the Speed Short Arc transfer mode, Pulsed Arc, HPS and Advanced Sequencer modes. WAVE III is easily controlled through the ergonomic and user friendly interface. It enables a complete tracability of welding parameters through the SWAN software. Connectivity is also possible with USB key or Ethernet.

New in 2017 : WAVE III is now easy to integrate on robot with a specific “Plug&Play” package.

One of the most remarkable characteristic of this new generation of MIG-MAG powersource is the important reduction of primary consumption (only 18.5A for WAVE III 520), representing more than a 30% saving of the annual electric bill compared to using a classic MIG-MAG machine.

WAVE III has the "Eco Friendly welding and cutting" label. This label is awarded by Air Liquide Welding to products that contribute to a sustainable development and/or ensuring better working conditions for the welders.

2.  Welding consumables:

2.1 FLUXOFIL 14 HD is a seamless copper coated flux cored wire for welding unalloyed steels with operating temperatures from -30°C up to +450°C. This cored wire can be used in all positions with one single parameter setting (24 Volts, wire feed 9M/min, wire diameter 1,2mm).

The main advantages with this wire are:

-  Tolerates a high welding speed increasing productivity

-  The weld pool is easily controllable with excellent slag removal

-  Good weld bead aspect with very little spatter, reducing post welding operations

2.2 CARBOFIL : The right choice of solid wires for all GMAW application. With more than 20 years of experience in solid wire production, Oerlikon provides you the most complete offer on the market.

-  CARBOFIL ELITE : the premium offer for most demanding customers for automatic or robotic applications - Also available in low temperature version

-  CARBOFIL GOLD : the best compromise between quality and price

CARBOFIL PLATINUM : the copper free solution

-  CARBOFIL : the solution for ‘everyday use’

This dedicated offer, adapted to infrastructure, general construction, earthmoving or automotive is available in standard spools and in drums from 300 to 600kg.

2.3 CLEARINOX : Low Hexavalent Chromium Stick Electrods and Flux Cored wires range

Welding fumes are mainly coming from welding consumables. In stainless steel welding, these fumes also contain Hexavalent Chromium, classified as CMR since 2014. One way to make a better environment for your welders is to reduce the Cr6+ exposure.

CLEARINOX improves the welder’s environment:

Lower Hexavalent Chromium concentration (up to -60%)

-  Reduced fume emission rate (up to 40%)

3.  Global Offer:

PURE STREAM is a customized offer and also an initiative to reduce the exposure of welding fumes to the welders.

National rules for each country require Permissible Exposure Limits (PEL) for fume emission and also for some elements considered as dangerous for welders’health.

Air Liquide Welding, a leader in developing and producing welding equipment and consumables, has the right expertise to keep you informed and to bring you the best solutions for improving the exposure of welding fumes in your workshops.

The Air Liquide Welding group is aleading player in the development of welding and cutting technologies, offering the most complete range of related equipment, consumables and services on the market, through internationally well known brands such as OERLIKON and SAF-FRO. Through our various centers of excellence for research, development and industrialization, Air Liquide Welding pursuescontinuous innovation, constantly striving to improve the performance, productivity, safety and comfort of operators.
