2. Part of the problem with a cold heart is God hasn’t done much since you

were saved.

3. God is always at work. See God working around you, and then share it.

C. Listen

1. When God speaks…listen!

2. God speaks through His word…through a still small voice (where did you

get the thought?)

Has your heart grown cold? Let God ‘do something’.

1. Bring what you have.

2. Surrender what you have.

B. Blessing

God always fills an open hand.

A. The Place of Delight

You love to be around God’s people and the things of God.

B. The People of Delight

1. You’ve got to share what God is doing with someone.

2. If you don’t give this relationship top priority:

*You will soon stop going with what God has done!

*If you don’t go…He hasn’t done much!

*How long has it been since you’ve gone to someone and shared what God

has doneor is doing?

*Perhaps He hasn’t done much, and your love relationship has grown cold!

Has your heart grown cold? Let God ‘do something’.

2. This ‘coming to Jesus’…the world looks on and watches.

B. The Witness

1. Be ready to give a reason for the hope that lies within us.

2. All we can do is tell what Jesus has done.

*We are one beggar telling another beggar where to find bread.

*Has He done anything…tell it!

-What He did 2000 years ago.

-What He has done in your life.

-What He is doing…have something up to date.

Has your heart grown cold? Let God ‘do something’.

V. THE DELIGHT OF RESIGNATION 3:17

Go and Share!

A. What He Gave 17a

These 6 measures He gave to me. It’s all of grace!

B. What She Gave 17b

*We just give to others what He gave to us.

*We have nothing except what He has given.

1. If God has blessed you, bless someone else.

2. What if Ruth had not gone and Naomi would have died in her poverty?

*What if Naomi had refused?

*How long has it been since you have shared Jesus Christ with someone?

Has your heart grown cold? Let God ‘do something’.

VI. THE DELIGHT OF REST 3:18

A. Sit Still

B. It Is Finished!

1. We can rest because Jesus paid it all!

2. Rest in His finished work!

Has your heart grown cold?

God isn’t working, and you have little to share.

“Lord, move back the phoniness. I’ve been playing games. Lord, I’m empty.”

You may be without Christ.

Jesus died so you can really live!!
