Frontier Primary School welcomes all interested parents to apply as Parent Volunteers under the Parent Volunteer Scheme. Under this scheme, a parent may be able to register his/her child under Phase 2B of the Primary One Registration Exercise if he/she meets the following criteria:
a) His/Her child is a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident;
b) He/She has joined the school as a parent volunteer and has contributed at least 40 hours of voluntary service to the school.
Interested parents are to submit their application forms to the school’s General Office latest on 30 April 2017. Application is only available if the child is born in 2012 i.e. he/she will participate in the Primary One Registration Exercise in 2018 and be admitted for Primary One in 2019. Please complete all sections of the application form. Late and/or incomplete forms will not be considered.

SECTION E / Notes from the School
o With effect from the 1999 Primary One Registration Exercise, a child whose parent has given at least 40 hours of voluntary service to the school in the 12 months before 30th Jun of the year of the child’s registration for Primary One may enjoy priority in registration under Phase 2B. Balloting will be conducted should the number of children registered exceed the number of vacancies available in any phase.
o Selection of parent volunteers is not on a first come first served basis. The school reserves the right to short-list applicants whom it deems fit to meet the needs of the school and our pupils. In view of the 5-day work week, preference is given to parents who are able to render volunteer services during school hours on weekdays. All applicants will be notified via email whether or not they are successful in their application.
o The school shall not be held responsible in the event that the parent volunteer is not able to fulfill the minimum 40 hours of voluntary service and, as such, is not meeting the requirement for registration at Phase 2B of the Primary One Registration Exercise.
