1.Call to Order: 11:33 by Michelle Perry

2.Celebration: Katherine announced we have 2 new officials for our team. Chad announced the Stars of Summer Meet is full.

3.Minutes Discussion/Approval: Minutes from April 25th Board Meeting – Unable to vote at today’s meeting as minutes are not complete. Will vote at June Meeting

4.FinancialReport: Cara

a.Monthly Financials – Cara was unable to be here. Financials will be tabled until the June Meeting

5.Hosted Meets Update: Tom / Coaches

-Stars of Summer – June 2-4

Starting block will be available Friday until Sunday

We currently have 413 swimmers signed up

Set up will be Thursday evening.

Intersquad meets are going well and will have one in June and July.

6.Vacant positions update – Michelle Perry announced Tricia Richards is interested in the Vice President position. Still need to find possible treasurer position.

7.End of Season Banquet – preliminary ideas – Michelle Kahler announced the banquet is scheduled for August 18thThe current plan includes a baked potato bar, salad, and meats.

8.Coaches’ Report:

  1. Roster update Currently have 108 swimmers.
  2. Splashers numbers are down for summer but will have 6 time slots this fall
  3. 2018 summer pool projects – currently on hold but may affect May to November
  4. St Louis trip team – Hotel is booked. Willis’ are chaperoning,
  5. Online membership registration update – New August 2017

June 1, 2017 1549 – Michelle Perry forwarded a resignation letter by Cara Brooks to step down as treasurer due to their family’s upcoming move to Houston.

Michelle Perry nominated Aaron McDonald as treasurer to step in starting in June 2017. Misty Prior seconded. Approved by majority of board by 2141.
