Ham Track

The purpose of this Service is to both inspire and protect parties involved in loan of Amateur radio equipment.

This agreement between both parties enables Amateur radio operator (Ham) to loan equipment to other Hams with protection.

Due to high cost and proper care of this electronic equipment, the Borrower signs this agreement, agrees to certain actions and provisions as listed below:

1.  A reasonable value will be agreed to by both parties.

2.  Equipment loaned will be properly protected from abnormal wear or abuse.

3.  Borrower will, on a regular basis notify this service of desire to retain use of equipment. Notification shall be by either in person (owner) or by email or US mail. This notification will be on following schedule.

A.  After one week

B.  After one month.

C.  Every 3 months until equipment is returned, compensated for or agreement cancelled. Ham Track may cancel their free involvement at any time.

This agreement does not convey or transfer ownership from/to any party.

Borrower shall not modify or repair equipment without owners permission.

Failure of response to any one of the above listed Email notifications within 7 days shall automatically terminate loan of equipment. In this event, Borrower is obligated to immediately return equipment either in person or shipment via commercial carrier (USPS, UPS FedX etc.) as per provision AB below. If equipment is not returned within 10 days, legal action for return or compensation as per 1 above, shall be commenced immediately (by equipment owner).

This service is a free service and we (this party) shall not be liable in any way to either party or representative.

AB Provision AB. It is agreed that shipment or transfer of equipment shall not damage equipment and if shipped by common carrier, Equipment will be insured for agreed value and the packaging shall be deemed acceptable by the carrier to prevent damage to said equipment. Double boxing and protective padding is mandatory. Equipment to
