! / Attention!
For this analog remote control the contents of the heating controller operating and installation manuals (in particular use as intended, warranty and liability, location of the manuals, transport and storage) have to be considered as well!
1.  What is your new analog remote control FW-D able to do?
The FW-D with integrated room sensor makes it possible to change the setpoint values day and night and choose
the operating mode (see figure below) by remote control together with the heating controller. In addition the room temperature is registered and is analysed by the controller (room influence). The adjustments at the remote control have always priority to the adjustments at the controller! If you want to adjust other operating modes at the controller, the remote control has to be switched to automatic operating mode (clock symbol) before. The heating controller identifies the remote control automatically. The sensor for the actual room value (TInnen) has to be allocated to the controller (level E3-3/5, see installation manual of the controller).

3.  Safety advices
Danger to life due to electric shock!
u  Only trained, competent and authorised persons (electrical technician according to DIN VDE 1000-10 and BGV A3) are allowed to do mounting, electrical installation and commissioning, maintenance and repair work on the remote control!
u  Follow all local regulations of the responsible energy service providers! / DANGER
4.  Wall construction mounting of the remote control
1.  Select a suitable mounting location in the temperature determinant room, e.g. in the living room. Make sure that no extraneous heat can interfere!
2.  Remove the enclosure cover!
3.  Mark the two mounting holes (see drawing left) and drill (Ø 5 mm), fit in the enclosed dowels!
4.  Align the enclosure of the remote control with the wall and fix it with the two screws!
5.  Electrical connection according to the wiring diagram!
6.  Clip on the enclosure cover!
Danger of personal injury!
Never use the enclosure of the remote control as drilling template! /
DANGER
5.  Electrical connection
!
ggggg / Please consider the information about the electrical connection in the installation manual of the heating controller!
DANGER / Danger to life due to electric shock!
u  Switch off the power supply of the heating controller every time the clamp cover of the controller is opened!
u  Make sure that the controller cannot be switched on!
Now connect the heating controller and the remote control. Use a four-wire weak-current line (telephone cable) and connect them via screw clips (single / fine wire, max. 1.5 mm²) according to the below shown wiring diagram.
A suitable strain relief has to be provided!
The low voltage conducting lead has to be laid separately to power supply voltage conducting leads.
Now mount the clamp cover again on the heating controller.
Clip the enclosure cover back on the remote control.
DANGER / Danger to life due to electric shock!
The remote control may never be mounted on a flush socket, in which there is already power supply voltage!
Make sure that there is only a four wire weak-current line in the flush socket!
/ 6.  Maintenance
The analog remote control is maintenance-free. You can occasionally clean it with a soft and dry cleaning cloth.
Attention!
u  No humidity may get inside the remote control!
u  Never use solvent-containing cleaning materials! / !
7.  Errors and troubleshooting
Please check the following points, if your analog remote control does not operate successfully:
1.  Is the operating mode Automatic day/OFF or Automatic day/night adjusted in the heating controller?
2.  Check, if the sensor for the actual room value (TInnen) is allocated to the heating controller (in level E3-3/5, see installation manual of the heating controller).
3.  Check, if it is one of the errors mentioned in the installation manual of the heating controller.
Replace either the analog remote control or the heating controller, if the error still exists after checking the above mentioned points.
