Purpose

This national certificate is designed for trainees who are employed in the screen printing sector of the printing industry, and who are undertaking either a limited training programme or an apprenticeship training programme.

Strands are included in this qualification to recognise specialist knowledge and skills required for the different screen printing processes of flat sheet, fabric (panel) or formed shapes.

People who have completed the Screen Printing strand of that qualification will have achieved credit for unit standards required in the core compulsory and core elective sections of this qualification.
