National Certificate in Aeronautical Storekeeping
Level 3
Credits 90
Purpose
The National Certificate in Aeronautical Storekeeping [Ref:0618] is for people working in the aeronautical storekeeping sector of the aviation industry. The qualification is comprised of core standards, which recognise the knowledge and skills common to all sectors of storekeeping and warehousing, supplemented by specialist standards that recognise the complementary skills and knowledge for aeronautical storekeeping. It is more extensive than the National Certificate in Distribution (Level 2) [Ref: 0990] qualification and is tailored specifically towards storekeeping duties in an aeronautical engineering worksite.
The primary aim of this qualification is to recognise people’s skills in storekeeping in an aeronautical environment while providing a path from other associated industries to the specific requirements of the aviation industry.

Reviewed standards that continue to recognise the same overall outcome are registered as new versions and retain their identification number (Id). Any version of a standard with the same Id may be used to meet qualification requirements that list the Id and/or that specify the past or current classification of the standard.
