End of the Year Tournament

Friday and Saturday, July 18 and 19, 2014

Location: Triton Public Schools West and East Field, and Dodge Center City Fields

Entry Fee:

$125 per team, plus 3 game balls to be brought the tournament.

Eligible Players:

10 years old on or before May 1, 2014 or kids who completed Grade 4 in the spring of 2014.

Rules: ZV 10U Game Rules will apply.

Game:

1. A coin flip will determine home team.

2. Game length will be 5 innings or 1hr 15 minutes. No new innings will start after 1hr 15 minutes.

3. The 15-run mercy rule after 3 innings or 10-run mercy rule after 4 innings.

4. If tied, all new innings start with last out on 2nd base until tie is broken.

Pitching Rule: Limit 3 per game, 7 total in the tournament.

Field:

1. Base length will be approximately 60 feet.

2. Pitching mound will be approximately 46 feet.

3. No infield will be permitted on the game fields; you may use the outfield areas for warm up. Please have your team ready ahead of schedule.

Team:

1. Play 10 players in the field; straight 4 man outfield.

2. There will be open substitution on defense

3. You may use a courtesy runner for your catcher by using the last player in your lineup that made an out.

Weather:

We reserve the right to alter the tournament format due to inclement weather.

Awards: Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Players.

Concessions:

There will be a full concession stand.

Brackets:

Brackets will be available the Monday prior to the tournament.
