Photo Days!
Wildwood is offering the opportunity to take close-up photos of our animals with our resident photographer Dave Butcher. Photographers of all skill levels will have the chance to get close to and photograph British animals, with Dave on hand to give help and advice on how to get those special shots.
Different animals will be photographed across the day, with animal feeds for the more elusive animals to help you get close views.Which animals will be photographed on individual days will change depending on what is happening in the park.
Cost: £79 per person, which includes entry to the park, the close up tour and photography instruction.Each day is restrictedto a maximum of 10 participants.Applicants must be 16 years old and over.

Meeting times and places
Days run from 10am - 4:30pm in the summer and 9am - 4:00pm in the winter.On arrival, please gather at the first picnic bench you find on your way to the main entrance.You will havean hour for lunch, during which you can make use of our restaurant or bring your own packed lunch.
What to wear/bring
Please wear clothing and footwear suitable for a walk in the woods. If the weather is changeable, please bring suitable wet weather garments. Bring sun cream and water to drink if hot weather is forecast. You are advised not to wear open-toed sandals as there may be wood ants, uneven ground and mud (even after long periods of good weather). Long trousers and long sleeves are advisable as there can be large numbers of mosquitoes.
Directions
Wildwood is on the A291, between Sturry and Herne Bay in Kent. From the M25 take the M2 and A299 (signed to Margate); turn off the A299 at Herne Bay to pick up the A291, signed to Herne, Sturry and Canterbury. Wildwood is signposted from the roundabout at that junction; it is almost 3 miles from Herne Bay and 2.5 miles from Sturry. Look out for brown signs at the roundabout with a deer head on them. Follow the signposts to the Wildwood car park.

Conditions:
- You must be at least 16 years old.
- Be reasonably fit.
- If you have special needs, you may be accompanied by a carer free of charge, if required.
- Family members and friends may not accompany you.
- Photo Days must be paid for in advance and no refunds will be issued unless the day is cancelled by Wildwood.
- No smoking is allowed in public areas.
- Wear appropriate strong footwear – old trainers or boots.
- Come prepared for the weather.
- Please understand there will be no animal contact during your day.
- Do not approach animals unless you are told it is acceptable by a member of staff.
- Do not attempt to touch, stroke or hug animals.
- If you are unable to agree to follow these conditions, or behave inappropriately during the photo day, unfortunately your day will be terminated immediately. In such circumstances, there will be no refund.
- By attending the Photo Day you agree to be bound by all of the above conditions.
