Sealed item rate tenders are invited from Manufacturers/ their authorized dealers for supply of electrical light fittings with lamps of Philips make or equivalent as per Schedule of Quantities.
Schedule Of Quantities may also be collected from the office of the Dy.General Manager, Zonal Office, Manish Commercial Centre, 216A -Dr. Annie Besant Road, Worli, Mumbai-400 030 and may be submitted in separate sealed cover superscripting “Tender for supply of Electrical fixtures for Badlapur ” at our Zonal ffice, Worli, Mumbai. as per following programe :
1. / Issue of tender document / From 28.03.2013 to 08.04.2013 during working hours2. / Time period of supply / 3 days on receipt of our work order
3. / Last date of submission of tender / On 09.04.2013 upto 11.00 hrs at Property deptt., Zonal Office., Worli, Mumbai.
4. / Opening of tender / On 09.04.2013 at 11.30 hrs.
5. / Valildity of tender / 30 days
6. / Payment terms : / No advance payment will be made. Payment will be made within 10 days from the date of supply at site through the Branch Manager,
The Bank will not be bound to accept the lowest tender and reserve the right to accept or reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason whatsoever.

- You have to deliver the above Electrical fittings with Lamps in good condition at our proposed Branch as mentioned above within 3 days from our date of work order.
- Quantities may vary and payment will be made by the Badlapur Branch , as per actual requirements / receipts of Electrical fittings with lamps in good conditions within10 days.

Dear Sir,
Sub :Interior Furnishing & Allied work for Proposed Badlapur Branch of Allahabad Bank; At- Ground floor, House No-309, Gurukrupa Sadan, Belavali, Badlapur(W),Dist.- Thane,Taluka-Ambernath,Pin-4215 03.
Allahabad Bank has pleasure in inviting the tender on item rate basis for the aforesaid work from the empanelled contractors of the Bank for interior furnishing & Allied work under category of estimated cost more than Rs5(Five) lakhs & above only. Tender copy may be collected from the Bank at Property dept. Zonal office, Manish commercial centre, 216A- Dr. Annie Besant Road, Worli, Mumbai - 400 030.
Earnest Money Deposit [EMD] of Rs.8,500/- shall be made in the form of a DD or Banker’s cheque payable to Allahabad Bank in Mumbai. The EMD shall be returned to unsuccessful tenderers without any interest after finalization of the successful tenderer and the work order will be placed with the successful tenderer within 90 days from date of acceptance of tender prescribed in this notice. However, the EMD of successful tenderer will be retained by the Bank and after award of work they have to deposit as initial security deposit a further sum to make up 2% of the value of the accepted tender including the Earnest Money. The Initial Security Deposit will have to be made within 3 days from the date of work order, falling which Bank at his discretion may revoke the letter of work order and forfeit the Earnest Money Deposit [EMD] furnished along with tender. Apart from the Initial Security Deposit(I.S.D) made as above,8% of the amount shall be deducted from running/final bill of the contractor by the Bank as retention money(R.M). The total Security Deposit (i.e EMD + I.S.D + R.M ) shall be returned to the contractor after completion of the Defect Liability period of 12 months and after making necessary adjustment towards defects, if any
All the rates shall be quoted in figures as well as in words without fail. The rates quoted in the tender shall be inclusive of all taxes including sales tax or any other taxes on material or on finished work like work’s contract tax including VAT and transport charges etc. All rates shall remain firm till completion of work; owner shall not consider escalation in price for any reason.

The authorized person of firm/ company submitting the tender must sign all documents. The authorized person of the firm/company must attest any & all additions /alterations in tender documents. Overwriting of figures is not permitted.
All bidders are requested to study the BOQ carefully and get all doubts clarified prior to submitting the tender. Completed and sealed tenders i.e. Envelope 1 and Envelope 2 in two separate envelopes along with E.M.D. enclosed in one big envelope super scribed with the name of the work shall be submitted to the Dy. General Manager, Allahabad Bank, Zonal office, Mumbai, Manish commercial centre,216 A, Dr. Annie Road, Worli, Mumbai - 400 030. not later than 1.00 p.m. on 09/04/2013.
(Envelope no.1) To contain Volume I, technical and commercial aspects of the tender and Earnest Money Deposit and Drawing with E.M.D. in the form of a DD or Banker’s cheque payable to Allahabad Bank in Mumbai. Tender without E.M.D. will not be considered and Envelope 2 of Tender will not be opened.
(Envelope no.2) To contain Volume II viz only the priced tender complete in all respects without any conditions.
Tender(Envelope No.1) will be opened on 09/04/2013 at 1.30 P.M.
Tenders (Envelope no.2) will be opened after scrutiny & clarifications on technical aspect/ counter proposal if any
The total time fixed for completion of all the works is 15 days including holidays. The work shall be commenced within 3 day from the date of issue of Work Order. The work should be completed strictly within the stipulated period. If the work is not completed within the stipulated time period, the contractor shall be liable to pay the liquidated damages at the rate of 1% per week of the accepted amount tender cost, subject to maximum of 10% of the total value. No extension of time will be given unless the Bank is convinced that the delay is due to circumstances totally beyond the control of the Tenderer.
For clarification regarding bill of quantities and specifications, or any of the items related to this tender please contact Property Deptt, Zonal Office, Worli , Mumbai, PH.2492- 3246/1986. The work has to be carried out as per site conditions. Any item of the work in part or full may be deleted from the tender during execution as per bank’s requirements and the decision of the Bank will be final.
The Bank reserves the right to accept or reject any tender irrespective of the lowest bidder without assigning any reasons whatsoever.
