Wash and Wear Policy

Troopers shall ensure that shirts are tucked into pants and pant legs are bloused or tucked into boots. Uniform shall be maintained in clean condition and reasonably pressed. Do not dry clean or steam the ZCU shirt or trousers! Such practice will damage the material. Iron on low heat and follow manufacturer instructions. No unauthorized insignia shall be worn on the ZCU at any time.

Will be worn by troopers all year round except when prohibited by the order of the commander.

The ZCU may be worn off duty so long as the trooper engages in activity that will not reflect negatively on the ZGC.

Troopers will not wear the ZCU at any establishments that primarily sell alcohol. In establishments where both alcohol and food are sold, troopers may wear their ZCU's only if their activities do not center on drinking.
