Opening:
Meeting was called to order at 6:31PM by President Terry Golden at NCC - Kiva
A.Approval of Meeting Minutes
- The meeting minutes from the August13th 2015 were approved as posted on the Web Site without any corrections or additions.
B.Treasures Report
- Current Balance – $7,655.67
- We will be supporting the Scholar Athlete again this year.
- There are a few members that still own dues. Pete has contacted them to submit their dues.
C.Old Business
- For you to be eligible for NCAA post season games, you must register on the NCAA hub on Arbiter by 10/15/15, take/pass the post season exam. The fee is $65. This will make you available for NCAA Division 1 and Division 2 per Dave Steiner, NISOA Regional Rep. Division 3 games may not be part of this package.

- Many changes are occurring so keep your Arbiter schedule up to date.
- If you have not received payment within 30 days of your completed game,
contact the assigner, who will then contact the school.
F.Good of the Order
- Next two meetings are Oct 4th and Oct. 18th 6:30pm at NCC –Kiva room.
- There will be no elections this year. All positions are on a two year cycle.
- Conference Schedules will be starting in the week or so. Step up your game as the players and Coaches intensity increases.
G.Instruction
- Offsides – The four situations for a player being offside are:
- Interference with play
- Interference with opponent
- Gain Advantage
- Deflection
- There was discussion and videos about deliberate play by a defender versus deflection
- A deflected ball going to a player in an offside position is Offsides.
- A deliberate play on a ball by a defender that goes to an opponent in an offside position IS NOT offside. A miskick is considered a deliberate play on the ball.
