YOUTH SOFTBALL SPONSORS NEEDED
Once again, it’s time to begin preparations for the upcoming Davis Youth Softball Association (DYSA) spring season. I would like to invite you to become a sponsor of Davis’ all-volunteer recreational fastpitch softball league for girls of all ages and skill levels. Generous donations from sponsors like you will provide our local girls with wonderful opportunities to make new and lasting friendships, to learn and improve their softball skills, and most of all, enjoy the valuable experience of being a team member while having fun.
Our goal is to present a quality and affordable program that can involve as many children as possible. In order to accomplish this, it is necessary to solicit contributions from community sources. For over 35 years DYSA has provided this program for Davis youth; our longevity made possible only by the generosity of our sponsors.
There are several levels of sponsorship available, each of which contributes greatly to our success.
TEAM SPONSOR:
A contribution of $350 will provide one team with; hats, uniforms, participation awards and team pictures. Sponsors may designate their sponsorship to be for a specific player, coach or age division. The uniforms will have your sponsor logo silkscreened on the front and also prominently displayed on the DYSA web-site, acknowledging your support. You will also receive a team picture plaque at the end of the season. You will also have the option to have a table at opening day, March 15th, to advertise your business, hand out marketing materials, and meet new customers.
FiveYear Commitment Level
For any of our great partners that want to save some $ supporting DYSA, we are now offering a discount for a medium term commitment of 5 years! If you commit to being a sponsor for 5 years, your contribution will be only $300 per year!
EQUIPMENT SPONSOR:
Equipment sponsors will be listed on our web site and receive appreciation from all DYSA participants for ensuring sufficient and safe playing conditions. Your contribution of $150 will be used for catcher’s gear, helmets, face guards, bats and balls, as well as general expenses such as umpire wages, park fees, field preparation, and first aid kids, just to name a few.
SCHOLARSHIP SPONSOR:
Through our “Sponsor a Child” program, your scholarship donation of $150 allows DYSA to realize our goal of allowing any young girl who wants to play ball the opportunity to participate. Families unable to meet this financial obligation due to severe hardship are encouraged to apply for partial or full scholarship simply by submitting an applicationof request with their registration form.
