Who are we ?

Youth education network is a nonprofit making registered ngo in Kenya.

What is our Vision?

To achieve an informed and involved society

What are our activities for community children?

Promote sustainable life skills; throughsocial clubs, children are encouraged to make the world greener and better for all. They learn moral values.

Sponsor needy children through education; we pay school fees for children who come from financially challenged backgrounds or whose parents are diseased.

Feed the needy children; we pay for their lunch at school. Some of these children survive on the one meal we provide at school.

Provide mental and psychological support to children; Through sports , games and music, and drama activities we organize , children are made to free themselves from psychological pain.

Provide health and nutritional care to children living with HIV and AIDS; we identify children living with HIV and AIDS, link them to medical and social care in our community, and monitor their growth and development.

To inspire children to identify and nature their talents through play and career counseling; we identify and invite professionals to talk and motivate our children.

What is our challenge?

Many of our children come from financially challenged background. Their parents or guardians are too poor to provide for their basic needs. To make the matter worse, those affected with HIV and AIDS don’t access medical care. In fact, there is no specialized medical care for children in our community. The facilities available are geared towards helping the adult. We are looking for an opportunity where this facility can be made available to children in our community.

What are our short term impacts?

Educate, dress and feed needy children in our community.

Nature talents

Provide medical support to needy children especially those living with HIV and AIDS

Create the awareness about the needs of children living with HIV and AIDs in our community.

Reduce the spread of HIV and AIDS in our community.

What are our long term impacts?

We look forward to improved health conditions of 600 children living with HIV and AIDS in our community. Equal attention like that given to adults will also be given to children living with HIV and AIDS. This project will enhance free and friendly relationship among children. There will be reduced HIV and AIDS and sufferings among children. We envision an informed community hence reducing HIV and AIDS infection cases in our community.
