The afternoon of August 14 you will play St Andrews Torrance Course. The Torrance Course designed by the late Gene Sarazen and winning Ryder Cup captain Sam Torrance, is a par 72, 6986-yard championship course. The Torrance was the final qualifying course for the 2010 British Open Championship. In the evening you can relax in preparation for a fun week of golf with Dell Curry and if Stephen Curry schedule permits and Sam Smith.

August 15, 2010: Start your day with a full Scottish breakfast. Today you will play either St Andrews Old Course* or St. Andrews New. The New Course is regarded as the oldest "new" course in the world. A classic links course with undulating fairways and challenging greens, it was set out in 1895 by Old Tom Morris. In the evening enjoy your welcome dinner at the Fairmont Hotel with your hosts Sam Smith and the Curry’s.

August 16, 2010: Full Scottish breakfast. You will either play the St Andrews Old Course* or Carnoustie Championship Golf Course, host of the 2008 Open Championship. Many, including Walter Hagen and Gary Player, rate Carnoustie as the best links in the world. After your round of golf you can enjoy the town of St Andrew’s many sites, pubs and admission to the St Andrews museum.

August 17, 2010: Full Scottish breakfast. You will play either the St Andrews Old Course* or St Andrews Kittocks Course. St Andrews Kittocks Course is a coastal landscape course that sweeps along the seaside landscape of St Andrews designed by Bruce Devlin. This protected area provides an abundance of wildlife including pheasants, rabbits, hares, deer, grouse and badgers that can be seen during your round.

August 18, 2010: Full Scottish breakfast. On your final golfing day in St Andrews, if you have played the Old Course you will play (Carnoustie/New/Kittocks)that was missed to play the Old Course. If anyone has not been successful in the ballot, we will instruct you on how to work with the starter at the St Andrews Old Course* or we can arrange an alternative round of golf for this day. For an additional fee, we can add a 2nd round of golf any day at Kingsbarn, Crail, or the new Castle course which is 5 minutes from our hotel. In the evening we will have our Farewell Dinner with an array of Scottish entertainment at the Fairmont Resort hosted by Sam Smith and The Curry’s.

August 19, 2010: After your Scottish breakfast, you will transfer to the west coast of Scotland (2 hours by motor coach) to your hotel for two nights at Troon Marine Hotel, overlooking the 18th hole of Royal Troon golf course. Today you will play Royal Troon which is the home to one of the best links courses in Scotland and is steeped in golfing history, notably several dramatic Open Championships since 1923. Visitors must have a handicap of 20 or less and a handicap certificate. This course is perhaps most famous for its par 3 8th hole, the Postage Stamp. The course is undulating in the classic links fashion but danger lurks in the guise of wind, rough and bunkers. This is a course which demands courage and a test of the mental aspects of golf. Course record of 64 is held by Greg Norman from the 1989 Open.

August 20, 2010: After your Scottish breakfast, transfer 30 minutes to enjoy Turnberry Resort and play Turnberry Ailsa Course, venue for the 2009 British Open Championship and easily one of the top links in the world. The Turnberry Ailsa came to international prominence in 1977, with the legendary round between Jack Nicklaus and Tom Watson in the Open Championship. This contest was the first of several epic clashes that have taken place on the Ailsa in recent years, with Greg Norman and Nick Price also battling through to win the coveted claret jug. We will never forget how Turnberry tamed Tiger and Tom Watson’s memorable run for the 2009 claret jug. The Ailsa is Turnberry's masterpiece, a course that Colin Montgomerie has called “the finest links golf course in the world.”
