There have recently been a lot of complaints about Windows 10, but none have stuck for very long. The most recent criticism was concerning particular privacy settings. Windows 10 enables users to access many different options to disable/enable specific data-gathering and reporting features, but it appears that some information sent to Microsoft servers still slips through. This has been happening to Windows 10 users all over the world since the release of it in early October, 2014. This is happening because of people not using the feature of “Wifi-Sense” to automatically connect you to the servers.
Users who want to provide their friends access to their password-protected Wi-Fi networks, send their passwords through an encrypted link to a Microsoft server, which stores it in an encrypted form before sharing it with those friends. Concerns were raised that hackers could potentially steal this information and use with malicious intent. Another thing is that Wi-Fi Sense allows you to share your access to the internet with all of your contacts, or none. You can’t be selective of who you give access to.
Con artists, criminals, and other hackers exploit social media networks, says the FBI. Secondly, hackers have started targeting the social media accounts of military personnel and their families. "If an attacker can become a Skype contact of a target that’s using Wi-Fi Sense, then they can gain access to their home wireless network, providing a foothold from which further attacks can be launched," Erlin told TechNewsWorld.

Opinion
Windows 10 is a useful, but somewhat unsecure user interface. It is secure most of the time but when information gets lost, who knows where it will end up. Wi-Fi Sense has been linked to some of the information lost, due to not being used appropriately by some users. When used correctly it is a very useful tool though.
