Tourists and a TV broadcast

Your goal is to include as many London landmarks and facts as possible.

Character1: You are a newsreader presenting today’s local London News.

Character 2: You are the second newsreader presenting today’s local London news.

Character 3: You are a tourist out with your friend, enjoying London.

Character 4: You are a tourist out with your friend enjoying London.

Challenge:

  • Can you connect the tourists and the newscast in some way?
  • If you want, you can film some or all of the presentation. It is up to you. Just remember that filming takes time.

Travel agents

Your goal is to include as many London landmarks and facts as possible.

Character 1: Travel sales agent. You work closely with your partner when speaking to the audience.

Character 2: Travel sales agent. You work closely with your partner when speaking to the audience. You also try to go even BIGGER than your partner, no matter what he/she says.

Character 3: You are an American tourist. It is your job to enthusiastically demonstrate how much FUN all the stuff they are selling is.

Character 4: You are the partner of character 3… married or connected some other way… you enthusiastically back her/him up.

Character 5: You are the American kid. You can either chose to just as enthusiastic as your parents… or your can present a different view.

Challenge:

  • You specialise in selling trips specifically for children. This should show in how you talk to theaudience and what you focus on.

Travel agents

Your goal is to include as many London landmarks and facts as possible.

Character 1: You are a travel sales agent. You specialise in selling trips to TEACHERS. You like to behave like a teacher to make your audience like you. (You may overdo it a little at times.)

Character 2: You are a travel sales agent: You also specialise in selling trips to TEACHERS, although you think your partner is a bit silly. Choose how YOU pitch the trip to the audience.

Character 3: You are an actual teacher who has already been on the trip. You and your partner try to explain how great this trip is.

Challenge:

  • How does an ultratypical teacher behave… how do you think a couple of crazy sales agents try to sell a trip to a room full of teachers?

Good Morning London

Your goal is to include as many London landmarks and facts as possible.

Character 1: You are the TV host of “Good morning London”. It is your job to run the show anddelegate what the others are doing.

Character 2: You are the show’s on-the-street-reporter. You conduct interviews and present news from outside the studio.

Character 3: You are a basic Londoner. You get interviewed and you are not ashamed to say what you mean.

Character 4: You are the newsreader. When it is your time you present the news, quickly and efficiently and with no emotion.

Character 5: You do the weather. Explain the local weather in local London. Make sure you explain WHERE in London it will rain or snow. You can also present a quick weather-related story or two.

Challenge

  • This is ONE TV show. So make sure that the host connects all the bits of the show.
