Announcements from the President:
1. Congratulations to Lance Maerz who will serve as President-Elect.
2. Transition of Board of Directors will take place June 1st, 2015.

- Motion made to approve February 2015 BOD meeting minutes- Lance Maerz

- Discussed the importance of having a member assigned to the responsibility of taking meeting minutes for the Annual Conference Planning Committeemeetings (no official decision was made)
- Treasurer’s Update – Tammy Riebe
- New treasurer as June 1st, 2015
- Finances from 2015 Annual Conference are settled
- Reimbursement Update – Sandy Zemke
- No update
- AACVPR Program Certification and Professional Certification Update – Bonnie Anderson
- Program certification application initial reviews should be completed by the end of the week. Following this process, a five-person committee will review any initial denials. Finally, Bonnie looks over each denied application an additional time.
- Information regarding program certification will be distributed by the end of August.
- There will be no contact with programs until the very end (when you are notified of your application status), so do not anticipate hearing from your reviewer.
- 224 people took the CCRP exam in April across the United States
- 78.57% pass rate on tests taken in April
- Notifications will be sent this week regarding scores
- Regional Rep Reports- Individual reports were provided for annual conference

- Meeting 5/5/15, meeting minutes will be posted soon
- Heidi will be rotating in to replace Julie

- As a side note, Lance was contacted from a director of a program who inquired about program membership rather than individual membership
Would an organization be more open to supporting a program fee rather than an individual fee?
This may help with the concern of sharing information with non-members
- Conversation will be tabled until the board meets with AACVPR to discuss affiliation

- Meeting in March with a small turnout

- Meeting was held after annual conference that included an open discussion regarding ITPs
- Committee Reports
- Annual Conference – Shana Steele
- 223 attendees at 2015 conference, and surveys have been reviewed
- April 22nd-23rd, 2016 are the dates of the next conference in Madison
Discussion continues regarding Friday night FAQs vs. Roundtable vs. Speed Topics

- Budget document circulated by Tammy Riebe and reviewed at meeting with input from various committee chairs (see attached budget- at end of minutes)

- Website is out of date and in need of an upgrade
- Meeting held with Dave Conner, our current website contact
System based on Content Management System (CMS) which could be drastically updated to improve user friendliness and display enhancements
A report should be back from Dave Conner in the first week of June, and the Telecommunications Committee will review at that time
Anticipated cost is between $5,000-$15,000 for modifications, and these wouldn’t begin until January
- Discussion regarding the possibility of searching for an additional quote before moving forward with this process
- Health Promotion and Education – Megan Justman/Heather Grant
- 2 webinars this year with CEUs
- Leadership & Nominations– Leadership committee representative
- No meeting since Leadership Workshop
- The chair of the committee has resigned, so Sue Kindschi will contact participants of the Leadership Committee to discuss moving forward
- Membership – Karel Ochs
- Team approach is needed for Annual Conference registration process- more than one person needs to know how to handle this responsibility
- Recommendation of establishing criteria that determines wave of fee for the Annual Conference for individuals heavily involved in planning process
- Motion made to raise late fee for Annual Conference Registration from $35.00 to $50.00-Adria Kuberski

Discussion- Moving forward, information regarding Annual Conference needs to be dispersed at an earlier date to allow individuals time to review before registering

- Amazon Associates income is updated quarterly
- It was suggested that a few minutes at the Annual Conference is devoted to teaching individuals how to use this feature

- CEP Licensure – Lisa Wenzel (Update from Bonnie Anderson)
- Bill was informally circulated by Senator Schilling
- Deadline for senators to cosponsor was May 18th
The goal was to release the bill so there was conversation with the senators and encouragement to cosponsor the bill
- There will be two more opportunities to bring this information around for the year
Members encouraged to talk to their senators
- Goal is to have a “Day on the Square” to facilitate people’s face-to-face conversations with senators this fall
New Business
- American Lung Association has asked WISCPHR to be a vendor on May 28th, 2015 at the Lung Force Expo
- Motion made to participate by having a WISCPHR booth at the Lung Force Expo- Sue Kindschi

- Voting members need to review on the website, as the board will be voting on this at the September meeting
- Innovation award will be a subcategory of the Leadership Committee
