DEAR STUDENT:

Your financial aid record has been selected by the U.S. Department of Education or

the College for a follow-up review known as Verification. Additional information

is required in order to process your request for federal/state financial aid.

You are strongly encouraged to comply with the document requirements within 10 days

of request receipt. Please be advised that your 2013-14 financial aid award offer

cannot be determined until you complete this process.

Miles College has contracted with Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority-

KHEAA Verify to process federal verification requirements for 2013-2014.

On behalf of the College, KHEAA Verify will complete the verification process.

WHAT SHOULD YOU EXPECT AND DO?

·  You will be contacted by KHEAA Verify within 24 hours of receipt of your file

information from Miles College. Please respond appropriately and immediately.

·  All verification forms are available and should be submitted directly to KHEAA

Verify by logging in to SIGN IN at www.kheaa.com and choosing "KHEAA Verify."

·  Documents can also be sent to KHEAA by mail, fax, email, or directly uploaded on

KHEAA's Document Upload link (Process selection- KHEAA Verify).

·  Register and create a MyKHEAA username and password to access your account.

This will allow you to log in to your account, view and complete required

documentation, upload documents, monitor your verification status, etc.

·  Parent(s) of dependent students must create and maintain separate username(s)

and password(s) to sign verification documents.

·  Sign your documents electronically using your FAFSA PIN(s). www.pin.ed.gov

Should you not have access to the internet, contact KHEAA for documents required.

When contacting KHEAA, you may use your Social Security Number or your Miles

College Student Number to access your MyKHEAA account. (855-272-8771)
