Information for Students

We know Young Enterprise changes people’s lives because people like you tell us so every day.

The Journey Award isn’t about which company has made the most profit, or has the best advertising. This award is about YOU.

  • Have you achieved something particularly amazing in the course of completing Company Programme?
  • Did taking part in Company Programme help you overcome an obstacle or discover a new ability which you feel has changed the course of your life?

We want to recognise and celebrate the journey from when you started the Company Programme and the difference that it has made to you in developing one or moreskills over the last few months.

(For example in communication, confidence, financial capability, initiative, organisation, problem-solving, teamwork and resilience.)

So if you are reading this and thinking about how you have changed since you started taking part in Company programme –let us know!

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO APPLY?

  • A current student on the Company Programme can nominate themselves.

Or

  • A teacher, parent/guardian, business adviser or fellow student can nominate a current student on the Company Programme(so if you feel a bit weird nominating yourself, someone else can do it for you!)

WHAT ARE THE PRIZES FOR WINNERS?

Regional winners will receive a trophy.

The top 3 finalists from across the UKwill then receive an all expenses paid trip to London for the UK Final on Thursday 6th July (including accommodation if required.)

It will also look great on your CV!

HOW TO APPLY

2)Record a video which explains how taking part in the Company Programme has had a positive impact on your life

A video can be filmed on any device – smart phone, laptop, webcam, handheld camera etc. Should you wish to create a video comprised of numerous clips, we suggest windows movie maker or iMovie if you are a MAC user. A good and free app on android phones or iphones is WeVideo.

**You will NOT be judged for your editing or the quality of your video**

3)Request your teacher or business adviser fills in theentry form and signs it

4)Send your entry video and completed form
