Essentially, you will be picking out who you are as the author, who your audience is, what audience-appropriate format you will communicate in, and what topic you will address. You will have several days to think this over and will have to write a proposal and a one page concluding rationale for your choices.

Your proposal must demonstrate your thought into your selection and explain the importance of what you will attempting in your RAFT project. Your proposal must be approved before you begin your actual project, so please plan accordingly.

Your concluding rationale for your choices is an extension of your piece that explains why the selected role, audience, format, and topic were chosen. It must be at least one page long, but there is no maximum for the length.

A rubric for grading this assignment has been included on the back of this page.
