You have been selected by Wal-Mart Incorporated to advertise their products. Your job is to create either a commercial or a print advertisement for a product in their store. You can choose to advertise for a product commonly found in Wal-Mart or you can design your own product to advertise for. Your job is to determine the target audience and captivate them enough to buy your product. Your advertisement must include:

  1. A Slogan or a Jingle
  2. More than one image
  3. An image of your product
  4. A description of your product
  5. A price
  6. Reasons to purchase the product
  7. Where to find the product
  8. Use of 3 different advertising techniques

If you choose to do the commercial you can work in groups of 2-3. The commercial can be done together but the written portion of the project must be done individually.

The written portion (FOR BOTH PRODUCTS) is completed after you finish your advertisement. You will answer the following questions:

  1. Who is your target audience?
